New York Moda Haftası: Khaite İlkbahar/Yaz 2026

New York Moda Haftası kapsamında gösterilen Khaite İlkbahar/Yaz 2026 koleksiyonu, markanın tanımlı çizgilerine sadık kalırken form ve siluetlerde yaptığı yeniliklerle dikkat çekti. Catherine Holstein’in tasarım yaklaşımı bu sezon da minimalizmin sınırlarını zorlamaya devam ediyor ama her zamanki gibi ölçülü bir tavırla. Defilenin açılışında karşımıza çıkan koyu mavi düz paça denim pantolon, deri ceket ve siyah minik topuklu ayakkabılar Holstein’in imza estetiğini kısa ve net bir şekilde özetliyordu: Sade ama iddialı, şehirli ama mesafeli ve daima güçlü bir duruş sergileyen bir kadın için tasarlanmış kıyafetler.

Koleksiyonun genelinde net çizgiler, güçlü omuzlar, dokulu kumaşlar ve dengeli aksesuar kullanımı hakimdi. Deri ceketler ve örgü üstler öne çıkarken boleroya yaklaşan kısa ceket formları ve yırtmaçlı kalem etekler gibi detaylar koleksiyona dinamik bir hava katıyordu. Markanın klasik siluetleri korunurken formlarla oynanarak yeni dokunuşlar yaratılmış. Sonuç olarak minimal ama sıkıcı olmayan, sade ama durağanlıktan uzak bir koleksiyon ortaya çıkıyor.

Koleksiyonda öne çıkan desenlerden biri de son aylarda trend haline gelen puantiyelerdi. Ancak Holstein bu deseni yalnızca geçici bir trend olarak değil, New Yorklu bir kadının gündelik stilinin devamı gibi kullandı. Dev puantiyeli düşük bel etekler, hacimli örgülerle bir araya getirildi. Krem tonlarındaki hacimli örgü takımlar, ilkbahar için biraz fazla kalın gözükseler de New York Moda Haftası kapsamında diğer markaların sunduğu hafifliğe karşı dikkat çekici bir kontrast oluşturuyordu. 

“CFDA Yılın Aksesuar Tasarımcısı” ödülüne aday gösterilen Holstein’in koleksiyondaki aksesuarları bu başarıyı destekler nitelikteydi. Uzun clutch çantalar, bilekten bağlı ayakkabılar ve heykelsi takılar görünüme ek değil, görünümün temel bir parçası gibi gözüküyordu.

Bu koleksiyon, Khaite’in sessiz lüks algısını biraz daha “ham” bir alana taşıyor. Rahat ama bilinçli, düzenli ama fazla kontrollü olmayan bir stilin peşinde Khaite. Bu da koleksiyona hem gerçeklik hem de özgünlük katıyor. Bu sezon gösteriyor ki bu yenilik artık yalnızca siluetler ya da kumaşlarla değil, kadının şehirle ve kendisiyle kurduğu bağ üzerinden de şekilleniyor.
